This is a parent run support group. Parents decide what activities they want to pursue and have outside speakers.
Family Support Worker - Referral only or self referral
A family support worker is able to work with local families to support them in addressing problems and in conjunction with other professionals will help them to access relevant services, including the centre.

The course runs for 12 weeks and is suitable for parents and carers with children aged 2-8 Years. It aims to help you feel more confident in dealing with your child’s difficult behaviour. The Incredible Years Parenting Course runs for 12 weeks and is suitable for parents and carers with children aged 2-8 years. It aims to help them feel more confident in dealing with their child’s difficult behaviour. They will also learn how to improve their child’s self esteem, help children learn though play, stay calm, give positive feedback, reward positive behaviours, set limits and boundaries. During the sessions we watch video clips, have group discussions, practice new skills and try them out at home. Research has shown that families that have participated in this programme have made significant improvements in their children’s behaviour.
A free crèche is provided.
